Congratulations to the Under 11 boys hurling team who were playing in the half time game at the Dublin V Tipperary league game on the Hallowed Turf of Croke Park last night. Well done to Jim Shelly, Sandra Murnane & Dave for making this such a memorable occasion for the team despite the awful weather. The club is very proud of you. Congratulations also to the Thomas Davis Under 11s. Check out the Club Facebook page for some photos of the event.

The Under 15 LGFA team also did the Club proud by beating the Dublin Under 14 Development Panel in fantastic game of football in River Valley this morning. This was a huge achievement for Sean Halpin, Conor Collier and the girls to be asked to play a Dublin team in a preseason friendly.

Well done to the AHL4 team who beat Skerries Harps by 3-13 to 12 points in a challenge game in IT Blanchardstown this morning in very difficult cold conditions.

Congratulations also to the The Thomas Ashe Minor team who had their first match of 2017 and beat Na Barrog this afternoon in a challenge game by 2-5 0-7.

The Executive Committee strongly instructs those borrowing the goal posts to return them with all of their parts intact.

Membership subscriptions for 2017 are now due. Payments can be made directly online under the Club Membership menu on the club website www.stfinians.com. Payments can also be made in the club office Monday to Thursday from 7pm or Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm by cash or credit/debit card. Membership forms can also be downloaded from the Downloads menu on the club website. For insurance purposes, it is essential that adult players and Juveniles who play on under 8 teams and upwards have their subscriptions paid in advance of the new season.

AIB will donate €50 to St Finians GAA Club for all new home insurance customers. When you get your policy number click on the link on the Club Facebook page to fill in the online form and choose St Finians Swords in the Club Drop down box. 

Reminder that the Dublin County Board are running Juvenile Camogie & Go Games referee courses. The dates and times are on the club Facebook Page and have been circulated by email. All bookings for the Juvenile Referee and Go Games must go through the club referee co-ordinator Emma Keely on 087 9124264 or emmakeely7@gmail.com. All applicants must be Garda vetted or at least have the application submitted. Garda ‘e-vetting’ can be done on the GAA website.
Please note that these courses are for Camogie only.

Club Lotto - The club lotto jackpot on the 10th February was €2400 and the numbers drawn were 5, 8, 11 ,12. There was no winner. Lucky Dip Winners of €25 were Bridie Fields, Emer Harmon, Valerie McKinney, Louise & Jacqui Kenny. Next week’s jackpot is €2500. 

The club bingo takes place this and every Friday upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €1100!

The coffee shop is open every Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm, all are welcome for a cuppa and a chat.
