The AFL4 team beat Lucan Sarsfields in Ridgewood on Sunday by 10 points to 7 with outstanding displays from Conor Lennon, Paddy Hattie, Mark Degnan & David Butler in wet and windy conditions. The AFL8 team had a great win away to Kilmacud Crokes with a final score of 2-12 to 7 points.
St Finians GAA Club as always featured prominently at the Swords St Patrick’s Day parade. A word of thanks to Irish Language & Cultural Officer Ronan White who made all of the arrangements and lodged all of the necessary paperwork for the club’s participation in the parade. Thanks also as always to Nick Collier from Collier Transport who provided the truck for the club members to stand on and in always ensuring that it adheres to the required safety standards. In keeping with well-established tradition, there was a very enjoyable ceili with ceol agus craic held in the clubhouse afterwards. Check out the Club Facebook page for some photos of the day.
