Club Notes 2nd April 2017   02/04/2017

Congratulations to the Adult LGFA Team who beat St Anne's in the Division 6 A cup on Wednesday evening in River Valley.

It was mixed fortunes for the Adult Football Teams,the AFL8 team won against St Peregrine's in Ridgewood
on Sunday morning. The AFL4 team, were beaten by St Judes in Ridgewood on Saturday evening.

Well done to the Under 14 LGFA girls who put in a great team effort in the Feile on Saturday in Russell Park. Thanks to Tesco Ridgewood for their sponsorship. 

Congratulations to the Under 12 Boys who played two games in less than 24 hours due to a backlog of fixtures and who won both of them. 

The Executive Commitee would like to thank all those who donated cakes and also to the Fundraising Committee for arranging the cake sale in the clubhouse on Saturday, especially Mary Murray and Caroline Savage which along with the Easter Raffle were successful fundraising events for the club. The Committee would also like to thank those who donated prizes and who supported the Easter Raffle. Your support is greatly appreciated.

The club is hosting a Child Protection in Sport Awareness (CPSA) course on Tuesday 18th April at 7pm in the Clubhouse. It is mandatory for all coaches & mentors and those working with children to complete this course. Please email the Club Childrens Officer Sharon Callanan to register your interest. The course is being run by the county board and places are limited as it will be opened up to other clubs to attend.

A reminder also that the Easter Camp will take place from Tuesday 18th April to Friday 21st April. Prices are €35 for 1st child member, €60 for 2nd child member and 3 children plus €70. For non-members it’s €50. Those registered attending the Nursery & Academy are classified as members.
Parents can also register their children using the ‘book and pay online’ option under the Easter Camps menu on the Club Website
Forms are available in the clubhouse office or to download from Easter Camps menu on the club website  

Fhionns afterschool & Breakfast club operates in the Clubhouse Activity room daily on Monday to Friday. For Further details, please contact Karen at 087 771 1856.

Club Lotto - The club lotto jackpot on the 31st March was €1800 and the numbers drawn were 2, 14, 19, 24. There was no winner. Lucky Dip Winners of €25 were Patricia Ellison, T Clarke, Mags & Rose, O'Donoghue Family. Next week’s jackpot is €1900. 

The club bingo takes place this and every Friday upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €1300!

The coffee shop is open this and every Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm, all are welcome for a cuppa and a chat.

The Club Shop is open every Thursday from 7pm to 9.30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. Check out the latest price list on the club website .
