Club Notes 16th April 2017
There are no Adult or Juvenile competitive fixtures on the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Adult Senior 6 Camogie team drew with Na Fianna in Mobhi Road on Tuesday evening.
Well done to the St Finians Gaelic for Mothers and others team who played their first league game on Monday away to Ballymun Kickhams.
Congratulations to the Under 15 LGFA Team who beat Na Fianna in Ridgewood on Tuesday evening.
The Nursery (4 & 5 year old boys & girls) & Academy (6 year old boys & girls) sponsored by Sky Handling Partner will resume on Saturday 22nd April after the Easter Break at the usual times 10am & 11.30am respectively. New members are always welcome.
A reminder, that the club is hosting a Child Protection in Sport Awareness (CPSA) course on Tuesday 18th April at 7pm in the Clubhouse. It is mandatory for all coaches & mentors and those working with children to complete this course. Please email the Club Childrens Officer Sharon Callanan firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest. The course is being run by the county board and places are limited as it will be opened up to other clubs to attend.
St Finians GAA Club is pleased to announce that comedian Rory O'Connor, the man behind 'Rory's Stories' is coming to the Peacocks on Saturday 17th June. Tickets are €20 and will soon be available from Team Mentors, the club office and on the club website www.stfinians.com .
A reminder also that membership subscriptions for 2017 are now overdue. Payments can be made directly online under the Club Membership menu on the club website www.stfinians.com. Payments can also be made in the club office Monday to Thursday from 7pm or Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm by cash or credit/debit card. Membership forms can also be downloaded from the Downloads menu on the club website. For insurance purposes, it is essential that adult players and Juveniles who play on under 8 teams and upwards have their subscriptions paid in advance of the new season.
There are Boxercise classes taking place in the Clubhouse Activity Room every Monday evenings. For Further details, please contact Karen at 087 776 5165.
Club Lotto - The club Lotto and Bingo will resume next Friday 21st April upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. The Lotto jackpot now stands at €2100. The Bingo jackpot is €1400!
The coffee shop will reopen next Saturday morning after the Easter break from 10am to 1pm, all are welcome for a cuppa and a chat.
