St. Finian's GAA are delighted to announce that  Progressive Credit Union are the sponsors of the redevelopment of our website.  Here is Sandra Dixon, Progressive Credit Union, handing over a cheque for €1,300  to Tanya Mulligan of St. Finians GAA Club.  Also present were Leanne Crean, Progressive Credit Union, Vincent Brady and Mick Ryan, St. Finians, along with some members from the Under 9 boys team. The Executive Committee would appreciate it if members and supporters could support sponsors of the Club.

Well done to the Gaelic for Mothers & Others team who kept their competitive streak going against St Maurs in River Valley on Thursday.

Congratulations to Ciara Buchanan from the Adult Camogie Team who was on the Dublin Premier Junior Camogie Team who won the Division 3 final in Kinnegad on Sunday.

Hard luck to the AHL 4 hurling team who were narrowly beaten in the Junior A Championship by Balinteer St Johns in Marlay Park on Saturday evening.

Congratulations to the 2010 girls who had their first training session as a new team on Thursday. They all put in a tremendous effort and will be a formidable team going forward.

There will be upcoming coaching workshops taking place on Friday 5th May (Football) & Friday 12th May (Hurling/Camogie) from 7pm to 8.30pm both evenings on the Juvenile pitch in Rivervalley. The Nursery & Academy sponsored by Sky Handling Partner will resume on Saturday 6th May at the usual times 10am & 11.30am respectively after the Bank Holiday.

A reminder that comedian Rory O'Connor, the man behind 'Rory's Stories' is coming to the Peacocks on Saturday 17th June. Tickets are €20 and are available from Team Mentors, the club office and are now available to purchase on club website under the Rory’s Stories Side menu and   

Membership subscriptions for 2017 are now due. Payments can be made directly online under the Club Membership menu on the club website Payments can also be made in the club office Monday to Thursday from 7pm or Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm by cash or credit/debit card. Membership forms can also be downloaded from the Downloads menu on the club website. For insurance purposes, it is essential that adult players and Juveniles who play on under 8 teams and upwards have their subscriptions paid in advance of the new season.

There are Irish Dancing classes with a qualified Irish Dancing Teacher every Thursday evening at 6:45pm in the Club Activity Room starting 4th May 2017. The cost is €5 per class. Contact Liz 086 386 4166 or email All are welcome.

Club Lotto - The club lotto jackpot on the 28th April was €2100 and the numbers drawn were 6,14, 19, 20. There was no winner. Lucky Dip Winners of €25 were Maura May, Lorraine May, Mary Doherty, Tony Dervan. Next week’s jackpot is €2200. 

A word of thanks as always to Kieran O’Donohoe & Grace Murray from the Lotto committee who co-ordinated the Lotto Desk in SuperValu Boroimhe on Saturday and also to all the volunteers and parents who filled the hourly slots. Your help and support is much appreciated.

The club bingo takes place this and every Friday upstairs in Peacocks at 8.30pm. The jackpot is €1500!

The coffee shop will reopen on Saturday 6th May. 

The Club Shop is open every Thursday from 7pm to 9.30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. Check out the latest price list on the club website . Club Shop vouchers make excellent presents.
